11 Tips for Air Compressor Maintenance
Now that you've invested in a compressor to handle all your air tools you'll need to learn how to keep it and run the operation. Since the standard air compressors craftsman's not every day usually require care, it is easy on them and neglect their care to mention. This can be a costly oversight so it is important for you to keep an eye on the following maintenance tips.
Maintenance Tip 1: Read and Follow Your Air Compressor's Manual

The receiver tank collects moisture from the air that - especially if you live in compressing a damp climate. Most tanks have a valve for draining that this moisture collects, and it's up to you to ensure that they are regularly watered. Before draining the water you should be safe to release the pressure from the tanks.
Maintenance Tip 3: Clean vents
